I made a chibi Bionca.

I am practicing with Paint Tool Sai a bit, I think I finally got the hang of it, so depending on how busy I am this weekend you may be able to expect page 2! Or at least a mini comic of some sort.

I hope you enjoy!

So I found an alternative

So no, my Photoshop crisis has not been resolved, but I have found a pretty good alternative for the time being. That being Paint Tool Sai. It's going to have to do for now, and I honestly like it better than Photoshop (in some aspects). I have been doodling in class a lot, and I just messed around with Paint Tool Sai for like, 8 hours today. So here are some of the outcomes of my procrastination.
(On a more personal note, I am struggling with some emotional problems as of right now, along with school and work, so I may not be posting as often for the next month. But over spring break I would expect some new work, and hopefully page two by then! I'm not asking for sympathy, I'm doing pretty well now, but It's just something I wanted to get out there. So sorry for the lack of art!)

So the first two drawings are not actual characters for TROA, but the last on is. She doesn't have a name, but I did create a character with the same color schemes a few years back and I was going to use her for a side story.
I did a lot of experimenting with colors and skin tones for the Manga, especially in the first image and the last image. I haven't figured out how I want to go about coloring the eyes yet though. But I will figure that out eventually.

Anyways, enjoy what you can from this.

Talk to you all later!

Sketches and Designs (I Promise I Didn't Forget You!)

So yes, the new semester has started. Yes, I did take a lot of really hard classes. Yes, I am working more hours a week than usual. And yes, I am doodling in class when I shouldn't be.

No, I didn't fix my Photoshop problem. No, I didn't get a chance to complete page two. (I am so sorry, honestly.) And no, I am not procrastinating. Entirely.

I did however doodle in class a lot. And get a few dirty looks from my professors. But hey, if I am taking good notes and am able to quick sketch something in the margin, then gosh darn-it I will. Last weekend before the semester started I decided to redraw and design General Vayne Tarrenwood, Hans Bluefire, and Prince Raiden (last name is yet to be determined, because holy shit, names are hard to choose. Yes, I know Raiden looks different. Yes, you have to right to complain. No, I won't change my designs. Vayne and Hans for the most part stayed the same.
I think Raiden looks wonderful. But that's just me. And yes, I am redesigning the maid outfits. I went through a lot of designs that I don't want to post on here. (Some are really so bad.) But, I think this may be the final design, after a few touch ups. I had also taken the time to change Verice and Bionca's outfit as well.
Yes, the colors for the design are pale, but not that pale. If I have time I will re-scan and adjust the colors. Then hopefully re-upload it instead. These are also not final.

AND HERE ARE THE DOODLES
Yolei and Miki doodle.

Potential Lila Light-Feather design.

Kaeru, Yolei, and Tama

Lastly, just a quick Princess Rayne sketch. I don't like it at all, it doesn't really look like her, but I decided, hey why not.

Anyways, hopefully you guys can enjoy these.
Until next time.

More excuses????

Heeeeey, so remember when I said I would hopefully have page two up by this weekend? Well, that is most likely not going to happen, because for one, Photoshop absolutely refuses to open up. And I haven't had time to fix that issue. Along with my sister using my laptop a lot. Secondly the Packers were playing today, and as much as I love the people who view my blog I REALLY had to watch this game. THIRDLY I have the stomach flu. ;)3(; I have been puking all night, and let me tell you what, it is NOT pleasant. And lastly I had to work a lot this week, so my free-time was severely diminished.

School starts in a week, and I am already getting flooded by textbooks arriving in the mail, so I will of course try my hardest to update once a week with either a character design or a new page. (Next week I am striving for the impossible, and I am going to attempt to try and finish 2 pages next week.) We will see how everything goes I guess. I just hope that everyone will continue to support me, it really means a lot to me.
Here is an older design for Kaeru I made a few weeks ago. Never finished it or colored it, but it's all I currently have to offer. ;;;;

Anyways, stay tuned!

An Apology and Short Story.

Hey so, I apologize in advance if the second page isn't up by midnight on Friday. My sisters laptop crashed and it's her finals week so she needed to borrow mine a lot this week. (I don't mind of course, I would rather her pass her exams and projects, even if it throws my schedule off track a bit.)

Anyways, to make up for that I worked pretty hard to finalize Tama's new design. I like it a lot compared to her old one, since her old clothing didn't fit my concept at all. Which is funny, because when I created her I didn't intend on using her in TROA, she was actually going to be her own main character for a different comic I wanted to do. But I lost interest in it and couldn't think of a steady plot, so I threw her into the mix instead. Which is totally fine, because I absolutely love her. She's only 12 years old, and she is already an expert on weaponry and battle techniques. She works for her father as a black smith along side with her cousin Daiichi. Her and her cousin are also frequently running errands for Lila Light-Feather whenever they are both done with work. And one of those errands happens to be retrieving Kaeru in the beginning of chapter one. Anyways, I should quit rambling, no one reads these anyways, haha.

Lastly, by the way, I also got a super kind offer from someone to help me create a website to post my web-comic on instead of being stuck using blogger for the rest of my life. He seemed really interested in my work and it was super kind of him to offer to help! So in the future I may be transitioning to a new domain.

Anyways, here is the new design in it's completion. :)

I had to play with the contrast and brightness a bit, because I had to take the picture with my phone instead. Any-who, I hope you can enjoy it.
(Her right arm is too short and it will forever bother me.)
The down side of using ink and not sketching it out first.^^^^^

Stay tuned for page 2!
